MIS’s eligibility

These conditions must be met:

1-The individual must be less than forty-five years of age. 

2- The applicant must have a minimum Second Class Upper or a CGPA of 3.5/4.0 at the bachelor’s level to be considered for the master’s program. For PHD, the applicant is required to have 3.5/4.0 or equivalent at the master’s level. Candidates for post-doctoral positions can be evaluated based on their academic achievements. They must have a strong research reputation and expertise in their proposed area. This selection process ensures that candidates have an academic background. It also ensures the candidate has the research experience needed.

3- For English language proficiency

  •       IELTS test with at least 6.5 or
  •       TOEFL test with a score of at least 580.

4- The individual must be in good health. They should be certified by a doctor. They must undergo a medical assessment at their own expense. It will help ensure they meet the health standards required for the program. This assessment checks their physical fitness to participate in academic activities without limitations.

General conditions for awards

Scholarship recipients must be full-time students at a Malaysian university campus. They must secure admission and cannot change their program without written permission from the university. Or they might need to consult the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia. 

Recipients must follow university rules and face suspension of the scholarship for any suspension. They must apply for the entry visa independently. It ensures compliance but with no guarantee of approval. Maintaining satisfactory academic progress and university standards is required. Meanwhile, failure may lead to scholarship withdrawal. The scholarship is valid only for studies and research in Malaysia.
