Application
Giis offers the Global Montessori Programme (GMP) for kindergarten-level students. The age criteria are as follows; For KG 1 it is 3 plus years, for KG 2 it is 4 plus years and for Nursery, it is 2.5 plus years.
For Nursery, there is a maximum of 20 students in the class.
For K1 and K2, there is a maximum of 25 students in the class.
Both the above classes will have a full-time teacher with a part-time assistant teacher. For classes 1 onwards, the maximum number of children per class is 28.
The major documents required are
● Birth certificate
● Residential address proof
● Student’s passport size photos
● Medical certificate
● Transfer certificate if applicable
● Previous year’s academic reports if applicable.
GIIS offers four levels of schooling that includes:
● Kindergarten level-Nursery, KG1, and KG2 students
● Primary level-From class 1 to class 5
● Secondary level-From class 6 to class 8
● Higher level-For class 9 to class 12.
GIIS caters to Indian and international curricula. CBSE is the Indian curricula and IGCSE, CLSP, GCSE, IB-PYP, and IB DP is the international curricula offered.
GIIS Pune offers the Global Montessori Programme (GMP) for nursery and kindergarten students and CBSE for students studying from 1st-12th standards.
At GIIS, the campus tour includes a visit to all the facilities provided by GIIS like the laboratories, sports ground, etc. If you want to visit any specific department you can put a word with our tour guides and they will guide you on the process.
The campus tour will last anywhere between 40-45 minutes. An agenda of the tour will be shared listing the events, exhibitions, and meetings. Parents are motivated to attend as many of these events and gain knowledge on our offerings to students.
Yes, you are given the privilege of meeting the existing students. Our tour guides usually give information about the student life and their experiences at the school. Students will also be present at the admission events and yes, feel free to interact with them.
GIIS does not make any arrangements for the stay during your visit to the school. The school is in close proximity to hotels where you can book your stay. Unfortunately, we do not cater any accommodations and neither are we affiliated with the hotels around.
The admission fee needs to be paid at the time of registration after the counseling sessions. The admission fees are one-time payments and are non-refundable.
Registration fee is a one-time non-refundable fee that needs to be paid at the time of admission process after the counseling session. It is reflected in the fee structure, but not a part of the regular fee.
The registration fee charged at GIIS is INR 500/-.
Once you pay the registration fee after the counseling session, your seat is confirmed.
The registration fee can be paid online through the MYGIIS portal by logging in with your credentials.
GIIS has a well-structured admission process that involves filling in the application form and submitting it along with the documents. The counseling and assessment are conducted after which the one-time registration fee is collected and a seat is confirmed. The final step involves the payment of the first term fees that have to be done before the start of the term.
You can either visit the school to collect the application form or visit our portal to download the application form.
There is no particular deadline to fill the application form. As the admissions in GIIS are open throughout the year the application can be submitted any time of the year. We encourage parents to submit the form at the earliest as the seats are guaranteed based on availability.
Once your application is submitted and if you want to upload additional required documents you can visit the application status page and do it. We also request parents to inform us about the submission of additional documents through mail as a part of document upload confirmation.
Once the application is submitted it may take a few days time to know the status. Upon completion of the scrutiny by the department, our team will intimate you via call or email and then will guide you for the further steps.
