At GIIS KL, we are all about building our community and we are so pleased that the word is out. More than 80% of our new families knew someone at GIIS before they registered with us, so THANK YOU for sharing our school with your friends.
In recognition of this we are Introducing the GIIS Referral Programme. A one-of-a-kind opportunity for you, our current families to engage more deeply with some of the best resources that GIIS has to offer.
This referral programme is not only a special way of thanking you as a GIIS parent for your trust and partnership with our school, but also to encourage your child to leverage this opportunity and become more involved within the school community.
Let's clarify your doubts
The GIIS Referral Program is a platform to thank and suitably reward its existing parents and staff* who believe in GIIS’ pedagogy & ideologies, and spread a positive word of mouth by introducing new students & parents to the GIIS Family.
All GIIS existing parents and GIIS employees* who resonate with our philosophy & core values and want to extend the help to others through a positive word of reference, are eligible to participate in the programme.
Respective admissions team will validate the contact referred by you. The lead should not have been received previously by the school via its online portal or if the contact has already met the GIIS Admissions team, then it is an existing contact and hence is not a valid referred contact.
The Parent (Referrer) who refers will receive a discount of MYR 1,500.00 per child referred. The Parent (Referrer) will receive the discount after the child referred completes a full term (T&C apply).
No, there is no cap to the number of references one can give.
If the referred child has joined the school and has successfully completed 1 full term, the parent who refers will receive a discount of MYR 1,500 per child referred.
A referral is the highest honour we can receive from our GIIS family
Terms and Conditions for the referral programme
- The programme is valid from January 2023 for the current academic year 2023-2024.
- The reference should have come from a current GIIS parent/current GIIS staff* with all details, such as contact number/ name etc.
- The referred parent should also mention the referral parent on the call or his/her visit to GIIS.
- The lead should not have been received previously by the school via its online portal.
- The student should have joined the school and completed a minimum of one full Term at GIIS before the referral parent will get the discount.
- GIIS reserves the right to make all final decisions regarding programmes and payments.
- The Parent (Referrer) who refers will receive MYR1,500.00 per child referred.
