As GIIS caters to students from Kindergarten to High school, the minimum age criteria is 3 years as of 31st March for Nursery.

The Global Montessori Program (GMP) is for nursery and kindergarten level KG -1 and KG-2 classes. The age criteria is:

● Nursery-3 years as of March 31st
● KG-1-4 years as of March 31st
● KG-2-5 years as of 31st March.

GIIS is a chain of International Schools across the globe, so the primary medium of teaching followed is English.

There are totally 4 assessments for grades 1 and 2. For grades 3-5, 2 half-yearly assessments are conducted in March and September and 2 periodic tests in May and November.

Bridge programme is for students who would have joined in middle of the academic year. In this programme, students are given specialized attention to match up with their fellow students and settle in the new environment. Student mentors are also aligned alongside support of previous class notes and books for a easier transition.

The subjects offered in GMP are:

The assessment policy for the secondary school is in accordance with the CBSE curricula wherein 80% weightage is given to summative assessment and 20% is given to formative assessment.

GIIS Ahmedabad offers two major curricula, Global Montessori Plus Program for Kindergarten level students and CBSE as Primary School, Secondary School and High School Levels for students between Grade 1 and 12.

Our counselors are domain experts in respective areas. For Academic Year 2021-2022, the scholarship eligibility criteria is divided into 3 categories A, B, and C and the academic eligibility criteria are as follows:

Category A-96.01% and above
Category B-94.01%-96%.
Category C-90%-94%.
