The Dr. Abdul Kalam Global Skills Scholarship recognizes young students proficient in these technological skills and encourages them to learn more about technology and the digital space.

Advantages of the Scholarship
It is a non-exchangeable and non-transferrable scholarship provided for one academic year.
Available in a few different categories
● Category A Scholarship – The Category A scholarship is available for students nationally ranked among the top 10 at the Olympiad by SOF/STEM Olympiad/Robotics Olympiad or the national first, the second, or the third prize winner at the annual competition of the National Children’s Science Congress and provides 9 percent off on tuition fees.
● Category B Scholarship – The Category B scholarship offers 6 percent off on tuition fees for students nationally ranked among the top 20 students at the Olympiad by SOF/STEM Olympiad/Robotics Olympiad, the national first, the second, or the third prize winner at the annual competition of the National Children’s Science Congress, or part of the first ranking teams at the ISRO Space Quiz, NSS- National Space Space Settlement.
● Category C Scholarship – The Category C scholarship provides 3 percent off on tuition fees for students nationally ranked among the top 30 students at the Olympiad by SOF/STEM Olympiad/Robotics Olympiad, the top 10 rankers at any national or international competitions run by giant IT companies like Intel, Adobe, Google, and Microsoft, especially Google Science Fair, the top 10 rankers at the national, state, and international levels of the Robot Olympiad, or part of the first two rankings at the ISRO Space Quiz, NSS- National Space Settlement.
Easy Application Process
If you want to get started with the scholarship process for the APJ Abdul Kalam Scholarship, the first step of the application is to turn in your application form through the online link. When submitting an application online, students need to make sure that they are uploading all relevant prerequisite documents, uploading academic records from the past two years, and published documents, including their paper or thesis if applicable, as well as their technology project documents.
The second step of the scholarship process is that applicants moving forward in the process will be notified through email within 10 business days of turning in their application.
The third step of the scholarship process is the scholarship assessment, and the fourth step of the scholarship process is the one on one interview if applicable. Finally, students will be selected for the scholarship, and notifications of the scholarship decision will be disbursed to the students.
Open to Students in India
All applicants need to hold an Indian citizenship. They should be recognized at regional, national, or international competitions. They also must have created a gadget, device, or tool connected to technology like robotics, app-making, blockchain, virtual reality, AI or artificial intelligence, coding, and more. Students are required to show proof of the application, instrument, thesis, paper, publication, or tool.
Students should keep in mind that if they turn in their applications with incomplete documents or without the proper supporting documents, their applications will not be processed. To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants should have been recognized or represented at the regional, national, or international forums mentioned above.

The scholarship lasts one year and applies to grade 6 to 12 CBSE students.
