Currently, Montessori programmes begin for nursery with age more than 2.5 years. Students with age more than 4 years can seek admission to Junior KG/KG1 and with age more than 5 years can get admission to Senior KG/KG2.

Montessori classes for Early childhood level and above typically have around 20-30 students who are in the age group of 3 years. The ratio of students to teachers depends upon the state and country standards.
